Terre Exotique Green Salty Coastal Pepper, 20g

Terre Exotique’s green salty coastal pepper is dried and wonderfully salty – a fantastic snack to eat as you would peanuts. Harvested by hand (while still unripe) on the coasts of Madagascar, these peppercorns are first preserved in brine, then freeze dried, giving them a distinctive crunchy texture.  

They are harvested before the internal seed grows, which means they have a lighter flavour and fresh, herby taste. Serve these salted peppercorns as a pre-dinner snack with martini cocktails, or grind using a pestle and mortar, then sprinkle over white fish or baked feta for salty, spiced notes.

Terre Exotique works directly with hundreds of specialist farmers and producers around the world – to bring the very best peppers, spices and salts to our tables. The company was founded by Erwann de Kerros, a Breton and seasoned traveller. After tasting pepper in the Penja plantation in Cameroon, Kerros yearned to try other specialist peppers and spices – and Terre Exotique was born.
